Easy cupcake recipe!

Hey guys,

Today I will be doing a quick post about an easy cupcake recipe. Who doesn't love cupcakes? I use this recipe all the time and it is quick and easy to whip up in no time at all. 

Here goes....

Ingredients

2 cups of flour

1/2 a teaspoon of salt

2 teaspoons of baking powder

1/2 cup of softened butter

3/4 of sugar

2 eggs

1 cup of milk

1 teaspoon of vanilla essence (optional)

Steps

Preheat the oven to 375f or 150c, line some muffin tins with paper cases

Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 

Beat in eggs one at a time.

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.

Add flour and alternating with the milk beat well. Stir in vanilla essence.

Divide the mixture evenly among the paper cases. 

Bake for 18 minutes or until pale brown in colour. 

Decoration Ideas!

You could make an easy butter frosting or a glaze for your cupcakes or just leave them plain- it's up to you. You could also put sprinkles, lollies, crushed nuts or anything else you like on your cupcakes.
